Oola Fun Challenge

  1. An example of fun is dancing with friends.
  2. An example of fun is children playing together at the playground.

I honestly thought today’s challenge would be really easy for me!

I mean who doesn’t have almost daily dance parties with their 5 year old, dance in the kitchen making dinner, or find something to laugh about on a daily basis?

I really love my life and like to believe that I can find fun in most situations.

So why do I find this hard? I realized when working the 10 week coaching course that I let fear get in the way of fun. I’ve missed out on a lot of fun moments in my life because of fear!

A few examples would be Ziplining! It looks SO fun. When I watch how thrilled people look flying through the air it looks exhilarating! Then I think about my fear of heights and rationalize in my head why I should not do this.

Water sports! I would love to go on a sea-do one day! Water spraying me from all directions and the wind in my hair. Then again the fear of getting hurt or drowning takes over and I cross it off my fun list.

One of my goals this year is to conquer my fears and if it looks fun and I have a drive to do it, then I’m going to do it!!!

If you know of any amazing places on Vancouver Island to zipline let me know!!! I’ve seen Mt. Washington has an amazing one but my logical brain wonders if this would be to intense for a first timer?

With that here is my last of the 7 challenges. Have fun with it 🙂

Do you remember when you were a kid? No one had to tell you to have fun. You didn’t need to put it in your planner to make it happen. You had fun automatically and easily. Something has happened as we became adults.

We have lost the ability to have fun for ourselves. We want our kids to have fun, plan the work party so others have fun, but as adults, many of us lose sight of the value of fun. We defer fun, reserving it only for that week vacation or kick it down the road toward this thing called retirement.

That changes today. You need to figure out what you find fun, and do it today. Take action. Maybe it’s art, golf, quilting, take an online course, pickle ball, hiking, fishing, a good book … you be you. But never lose sight, or undervalue, the importance of fun in your life.

Don’t forget to enter the daily draws here for a chance to win some pretty sweet Oola gear!

I am also accepting online bookings so you can take the first step to your Oola life! I am offering a free 30 minute one on one consultation.

I can not wait for you to update me on your challenge today!

Be Grateful Have Faith and Live Oola!
